PURPOSE: To perform reinforcement of car body constituent members decently and properly by enabling foaming seal material to be foamed properly mutually between the fellow car body constituent members such as panels, etc., superposed on each other. CONSTITUTION: This is the car body structure of an automobile where foaming seal material 4 which foams by heating is interposed between the car body constituent members 10 and 20 lying on top of each other. Out of the car body constituent members 10 and 20 lying on top of each other, at the section where one car body constituent member 10 positioned inside the car body abuts on the foaming seal material 4 is provided a hole 5, which releases a part of this foaming seal material 4 by letting it project inward of this car body constituent member 10 when this foaming seal material 4 foams. |
