<p>PURPOSE: To improve a strength and durability by a method wherein a vertical vibration component and a horizontal vibration component, transmitted from an engine to an exhaust pipe, are both absorbed, and an unreasonable stress generated at an exhaust pipe is suppressed. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust pipe extending from a horizontally arranged engine 1 at the front of a vehicle to the rear part of the vehicle and parts 6 and 7 extending approximately linearly in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and a part 30A extending approximately linearly in the cross-wise direction of the vehicle are provided. An upper stream side exhaust pipe and a downstream side exhaust pipe are coupled in an airtight manner to parts 6 and 7 extending approximately linearly in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and a part 30A, respectively, extending approximately linearly in the lateral direction of the vehicle. Spherical joints 3A and 3B to allow relative rotation between the two exhaust pipes are inserted in a direction crossing the extension direction of the two exhaust pipes, coupled with each other, at right angles.</p> |
