PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an efficient tip cap assembly for a hypodermic injector by a method wherein when a collar is mated with the perimeter of a tip part, an inner cap is engaged being sealed with the collar and the outer cap gets into or off the tip part as an outer cap gets engaged with or disengaged from the collar. SOLUTION: A tip cap assembly (assembly) is constituted of an inner cap 56 and an outer cap 58. The base end 60 of the inner cap 56 is pressed in the direction of the base end 72 from the extreme end of the outer cap 58 so that a tip engaging part 64 is engaged with a rib 80 of the outer cap 58 to assemble. The assembly is screwed to be engaged with a lure type collar (collar) 44 to be pressed into the tip of a syringe barrel 12. A protruding part 50 on the base end of the collar 44 gets tight at the tip part 22. At the same time, a tip engaging part 64 of the inner cap 56 is engaged being sealed with the tip part 22. A stopper 67 is fitted into a path 24 piercing the tip part 22 to be closely engaged with the path 24. |
