FIELD: materials handling. SUBSTANCE: method comes to longitudinal working transportation of load on lifted main support with resting on auxiliary support, lowering of main support and lifting of auxiliary support and then idle travelling of auxiliary support. Prior to changing direction of transportation of load, either idle displacement of auxiliary support or working displacement of main support is carried out to bring their vertical axes in alignment. Further transportation of load is carried out in the same sequence of operations. Device has main support with hydraulic jack embracing auxiliary support installed for displacement in horizontal plane, and displacement and lifting mechanisms. According to invention, auxiliary support has rolls installed in guides mounted in frame also furnished with such rolls installed square to rolls of auxiliary support in guides secured on main support. Main and auxiliary support travel motion mechanism of device is made in form of horizontal hydraulic cylinders, four minimum, arranged in pairs and square to each other in auxiliary support, and installed for engagement with main support. EFFECT: cut downtime taken for displacement of load owing to excluding the turning of non-loaded auxiliary support when changing direction of load displacement. |
