FIELD: mining; applicable in extinguishing of underground fires in mine workings. SUBSTANCE: method provides for preliminary installation in mine working of special device for erection across the working of stopping having two partitions in form of flexible folding bags 6 and 7 provided with valves 16 and 18 of excessive pressure and branch pipe on the side of active working for supply of fire extinguishing and isolating materials. EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety of work involved in isolation of underground mine workings under conditions of explosion hazard. 2 dwg
