FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method comprises transsection of superficial temporal artery followed by magnetostimulation. During the operation of transsecting superficial temporal artery sclerotomoplasty is performed. After the operation ribonucleotide solution is injected intramuscularly at concentration of 150-200 mg for 10-15 days and 10-14 sessions of acupuncture of bioactive points associated with retina of the eye are conducted. EFFECT: allows one to improve optical function of eye.
