FIELD: ophthalmology, particularly, surgical treatment of retinal detachment. SUBSTANCE: method involves introduction of silicone into area of retinal detachment, followed by removing it during postoperative period under gas tamponade. Novelty is that patient in sitting position without inclination of head is additionally punctured by needle at six o'clock pointer, then needle is removed from cavity, and silicone flows out through formed canal due to gas pressure. If necessary, procedure is repeated several times. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation for retinal detachment. |
