PURPOSE: To make the distribution of a dust load (particle load) on each filter uniform and to improve dust collecting performance by straightening a dust- containing air current flowing from an air current straightening chamber in a dust collector to a filter chamber to make the velocity distribution thereof uniform. CONSTITUTION: The inside of the body of a dust collector is divided into a right and a left chamber of an air current straightening chamber 1A with a suction port 2 and an air current straightening chamber 1B having filters 5... by a partition panel 3 of punching metal. In the chamber 1A, air current straightening plates 4A, 4B of punching metal are installed at an interval so as to cut off a dust-containing air current and slantingly at a necessary angle to the opposite direction to the partition panel 3 along the current.
