FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: overhead contact system of electrified railway has intermediate supports 1 and 2 on which taut carrier cable 4, units of droppers 5 secured through coiled loops with protective thimbles 6 and connectors 7 are mounted through hanging seats 3. Upper ends of connectors are fastened to carrier cable and lower ends to contact wire 8 in each span 1. Suspension units of droppers in middle portion of span are installed in form of one or two simple strings 9 with coaxial connection of their links. Further on as far as adjacent supports 1 and 2 droppers 5 with increased length and number of flexibly bending link connections are installed. Loops of link connections are made non-axial relative to axis of wire and are bent inwards to form C-shaped for damping contact wire 8 by resilient forces in suspension units and levelling its elasticity in all portions of spa with stability of current collection and uniform minimum wear of contact wire and plates of current collector in contact with wire at high speed running. EFFECT: reduced wear of contact wire and current collectors. 1 dwg |
