METHOD FOR RECOGNITION ACUTE APPENDICITIS IN CHILDREN

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: acute appendicitis is recognized by deep palpation of stomach in the right iliainguinal area for presence or absence of pulse at right common illiac artery. The absence of pulse of iliac artery supports in favour of acute appendicitis, and the diagnosis is considered as nonconfirmed at the presence of carotid pulse. EFFECT: provides high diagnostic accuracy.
