FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting-out superficial scleral flap. Novelty consists in that superficial scleral flap is firstly separated to depth equal half of sclera thickness, then incision is deepened up to ciliary body, and fine layer of sclera in form of net is preserved above ciliary body; then flap is separated within this depth towards limb, external wall of Schemm's canal is opened, flap incision is extended in direction of cornea by 1 mm, and external wall of Schlemm's canal is opened within whole width of scleral flap. EFFECT: reduction of postoperative complications. |
