<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a food container which is high in rigidity, high in heat resistance, excellent in transparency, and has a soft feeling by a method wherein a crystal orientation index and a filbril diameter of a polypropylene sheet thermally formed container are specified. CONSTITUTION: This polypropylene container is a thermally formed body, and its crystal orientation index is 0.30-0.95 and its filbril diameter is 0.01-0.4μm. The crystal orientation index indicates an orientation coefficient of a C axis of a polypropylene crystal obtained by X-ray diffraction. The filbril diameter means a corelative length of a fibrous texture obtained from a Debye plot by measuring a Vv scattering intensity distribution with a solid light scatter measuring instrument. When a shape of the polypropylene container is exemplified, a food pack is of a shape wherein a cover 2 is extended from one upper side of a tray 1, and they are integrally formed. The cover 2 is freely foldable on an opening part of the tray 1. When food is packaged the cover 2 is folded on the opening part of the tray 1, and the cover and the tray are fastened together with a catch to be used.</p> |
