The tractor has front (2) and rear (3) wheels connected by a raised chassis (1) which supports a driver's cab (4) and a work tool mounting (5). The work tool mounting is located under the raised chassis between the front and rear wheels. The driver's cab is located on the rear part of the chassis. The part of the chassis in front of the driver's cab is open (14) so that during use the driver has a view of the work tool under the chassis. This chassis front part comprises two lateral beams (11) leaving the central zone open. The mountings for the work tool comprise four gripping arms, two front (15AV) and two rear (15AR) arms. These arms are coupled and fixed under the chassis by one end. The other free end has a coupling hook for the work tool. Actuators displace the arms synchronously between lowered and raised two positions. When lowered the arms extend with a large inclination from the chassis enabling connecting to the coupling, and when raised support the coupled work tool locked on the arm ends.
