A device (1) for removing condensate containing fat, moisture or oil from spaces (2), e.g. large kitchens, may have a bottom cover, an extractor hood or a combination of both. It has prior art separators (3) releasably secured to a bearing structure (4) so that they can, for example, be cleaned in dishwashers. Said separators (3) have collecting means or slats (5) for the condensate arranged on a slant to guide the condensate into a collecting channel (6) in which at least one collecting container (7) or a series thereof is fitted to be movable and/or removable so that the condensate deposited on the separators (3) or their slats (5) is taken to said collecting container (7). The fixed collecting channel (6) is thus screened against said condensate by the collecting container(s) (7). The collecting container(s) can be pushed out of the collecting channel (6) for emptying and cleaning. |
