The retro-projector comprises an image input device (10) for entering image data from a manuscript (11), and an optical projection system (30) for projecting the image data on to a screen (32) with a first magnification value. An image magnification system (20 - 24) is provided for dividing several character data images or groups of data characters into sections which can be magnified to a second magnification value. The magnified image may also be relayed to the image projection system. Two memories (22,23) are provided for the images at different enlargement values, with a control system (24) controlling these two memories. |
