Biochemical sensor comprising a substrate on which yeast cells capable of capturing a certain type of molecules (M) are deposited, said yeast cells also being capable of producing a chemical entity (P) after having captured said molecules, and the sensor further comprising means for detecting said entity (P). The yeast cells used are genetically engineered yeast cells, with their capture sites adapted to said type of molecules (M). The invention is useful for detecting pollutants, substances of abuse, perfume etc. |
