<p>A sealing profile (1) made of elastomer for easy fitting into car door or window frame sections (8) is made by: a) extruding a profile of one or several elastomers; b) depositing on the mounting surfaces a film of polyethylene (9) which then is crosslinked to reduce the coefficient of friction of those surfaces; c) vulcanising the elastomer profile, and pref. the polyethylene at the same time,and at high temp. Pref. the polyethylene film (9) is co-extruded with the elastomers of the profile and also is applied to the surface (5) sliding on the glass to be sealed.</p> |
