The device has a housing with at least two air flaps (5,6,7), which are born along a common pivot axis (8). Two external adjusting devices (11,12) for the air flaps have transmission elements (14,15,16,17,18), located coaxially to the pivot axis, for independent regulation of the air flaps. Both adjusting devices are located on the same outside housing wall. A transmission lever (12) associated with one device, is non-turnably connected to a hollow shaft (14,16,17), which carries one air flap. A transmission rod (18) associated with the other adjusting device is non-turnably fastened to the other air flap, and extends through the hollow shaft.
