Mounting of cladding panels on building walls

The fastening system (13) is for cladding panels (1) on the wall of a building. Screws (8) hold profiled shapes (2) on the rear side of each cladding panel. They have projections (2a) engaging with and hooking over corresponding projections (3a) on further profiled shapes (3). These shapes engage further members (4) which engage a ball (5a) which allows swivelling in any direction. Each ball is mounted on top of a screw or dowel (5) which may screw or be driven into a bush (6) engaging in a bore in the wall. Vertical adjustment of the height of the cladding panel may be provided by sliding members (11) joining the member engaging the ball on the head of the dowel to the second profiled shape.
