The method determines dynamically the critical rpm value of the engine to prevent the damage of the engine caused by an abrupt driving by regulating the period of supplying the fuel. The method comprises steps of measuring a time variation ratio by detecting output signals of a throttle position sensor; determining if the abrupt driving occurs or not; measuring the time variation ratio by detecting the engine rpm the abrupt driving occurs; determining the rpm for stopping the supply of the fuel according to the time variation ratio; determining the supply of the fuel by comparing the current rpm with the above determined rpm.
