<p>A recyclable composite structure having both sound absorbing performance and functions as lightweight structure, whose sound absorbing sections can be formed by a simple process without using any different kind of material. This composite structure is produced by mixing synthetic or natural fibers as a reinforcement with a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene or the like by air mixing or the like to form a mixture having a three-dimensional network plasticizing and compression-molding the mixture, and forming raised portions on the surface of the resulting molded product and/or voided portions in the molded product by restoring the pressed fiber by expansion, the raised portions and voided portions serving as the sound absorber.</p> |
