<p>The claimed system brings a solution to subcutaneous injections in arms, in an autonomous way, especially for diabetic persons who require such a system. The invention comprises an adhesive strip of textile, synthetic paper or other material, protected by a disposable film bearing in the opposite face an adhered plate which is deformable by pressure, preferably a metal, corrosion-resisting plate. One of the extremities of the adhesive strip is extended into a filament or narrow band. The method of use is as follows: removing the protection film and fixing the clamp on the arm in the injection area; holding the extremity of the filament; pressing with the fingers the metal plate till it is deformed, thereby biting and pinching the flesh of the arm; the skin and flesh of the arm is raised, said pinching being stable. With the hand of the opposite arm, the needle for the injection can be introduced. The filament is then pulled to release the 'clamp'. Then, proceed to the injection.</p> |
