The system recovers more than 59% of the wind power. It uses a rotor shaped according to a number of equations for fluid flow. Each working aerodynamic surface is constrained to move considerably slower than the velocity of the wind, and in particular the central portion of the aerodynamic surface of the windmill moves at less than one-third of the wind velocity.
