The microwave oven is designed to measure weight of an object to be prepared with an electronic scale. The microwave oven includes : an operation panel (2) installed to the front of a cavity (1); a guide plate (3) installed between the top (11) and the upper side (12) of the cavity (1); an electronic scale (4) installed on the guide plate (3); a vent hole (121) for ventilation; a micro computer (6); and a function selective key (22).
