Onboard parking time indicator with automatic display

The indicator has a clock mechanism contained within a dial face housing for driving an hours indicator hand and a second time indication hand mounted on the same axis, which is halted upon the vehicle ignition being switched off. The second hand is normally coupled for rotation with the hours indicator hand via an electromagnet, the supply to the latter disconnected upon switching out the ignition with a spring loaded pin cooperating with a spring ring to block its further rotation.
