Magnetically-operated hydraulic control valve for i.c. engine fuel injection system
摘要
The control valve has a valve piston displaced along a given path within the valve housing by an electromagnet, for controlling a connection path between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The connection path incorporates a fluid chamber defined by the valve piston, with a second valve element controlling the connection between the input and output of the fluid chamber in dependence on the position of the valve piston. The fluid pressure within the fluid chamber opposes the electromagnetic piston displacement, for compensating the residual magnetism of the electromagnet.
