<p>A decorative electrical lighting arrangement uses a shade that is in the form of an optical chain or optical conductor that allows a miniature light bulb to be inserted through an opening and retained with a disc or clamp with the wire for suspension of the lamp. The shade may be decorated by a pattern of symbols and geometric characters. The upper opening of the shade is made larger than the lower to provide air flow for cooling the bulb. Bulbs of different colours may be used.</p>
