Conditioning thermoplastics waste for economical mixing with oil residue

In working up thermoplastics waste (I) with residues (II) from the oil industry, for use as raw material, undegraded (I) is conditioned after crushing and removing associated impurities and before adding it continuously to a (II) prod stream. Conditioning is carried out with 5-85 wt% hydrocarbon-based destructurisation agent (III), which has a viscosity of 1-15 mm<2>/s at 140 deg C, in an extruder at 190-270 deg C.
