The inlet (8) of the pipe is closed by a stopcock, and its outlet (9) is a lateral port. Between the two a turbine set (4) rotates on a coaxial shaft (2) mounted in bearings (3,11). A cylindrical permanent magnet (5) fixed to the shaft is surrounded by an external soft iron cage (6) which concentrates the magnetic field into a coil (7) with electrical connections (10) to a load. The end of the shaft within the coil is centred by a ball (12) which absorbs axial stress.
