The system features a caterpillar to provide soil used when a tide embankment is built or discharge soil produced when a tunnel is excavated. The caterpillar scatters earth and sand as it passes on a rail at a small radius of rotation. Although facilities have to move as its work proceeds, a tide embankment can be built on without interception by rearranging a rail easily.
