The variable intake system enables an intake port to take various shapes according to the operating condition of engine for inducing the optimal intake flowing. A flexible tube(10) at the inside of an intake port(1) end expands or contracts by the ECU control. In case of low speed driving, the flexible tube is controlled to expand and lead intaking air into strong helical turbulence which is ideal for low speed driving. In case high speed driving, the flexible tube is controlled to contract and makes it possible to taking much of air in, which results in improved output power.
