Group forming and transport mechanism for drink bottles

On either side of the transport direction circulate transport jaws (2,3), not changing their position during their circulation. The transport of bottles (1) etc. is carried out by pairs of opposite jaw work faces. The transport jaws are so shaped that they form an effective, transverse limit for individual bottles. During transport the bottles contact each other. Pref. each transport jaw comprises a front hold-back at its front end. Such hold-back may be also at the rear, with both hold-backs in the form of an arcuated protrusion.
