Circuit-board edge guide system for use in housing

The support system can be used with a variety of printed circuit boards (3) that are of different sizes. The boards are located vertically within lower edge guides (6) and are separated from each other. The support system for the top edges is provided by a number of guide elements (11) that are mounted on a spindle (9) that runs the length of the housing. Each guide is symmetrical and has holes (18) for the spindle to pass through. Clamping screws (21) are provided to lock the guide in a selected position. Each guide has a number of slots (13, 14) in which the circuit boards locate.
