The knife (10) consists of a handle body (12) with sliding cover (14). When in open position, the cover is pressed with its front contact face (20) against a spring return force, in an inward direction towards the interchangeable blade (11). In the closed position, the retainer surface (30) of the cover engaging under the abutment (17), is pressed outwards by the return force, against the abutment. The cover is locked in closed position by frictional connection, and/or via a positive locking or plug connection between its rear end section (22) and the rear abutment (18).
