Use of interferon and a substance with an antimalarial activity for the treatment of malaria infections

The use of pharmaceutical compositions comprising at least one antimalarial active substance and an interferon, preferably interferon-gamma (IFN- gamma ), is disclosed. The pharmaceutical composition according to the invention are used in the treatment of clinical malaria.
