<p>The present invention relates to a video switching circuit capable of switching between the Y/C separated video signal and the composite video signal , and a television receiver incorporating thereof in order to improve the freedom and the operability of the switching circuit. The video switching circuit of the invention is equipped with a first and a second video input terminals, and the Y/C separated video signal is inputted to said first video input terminal and plural composite video signals are inputted to said second video input terminal when these two types of video signal inputs are required. The circuit is equipped with a first and a second selection means also, and one of said plural composite video signals inputted to said second video input means is selected by said first selection means, and the selected composite video signal is separated into the luminance and the chrominance signals by means of said Y/C separation means. As a result of this, the output of said Y/C separation means and said signal inputted by said first video input means take a same signal form, so that these two signals can be alternatively switched by said second selection means according to the control signal given by said control means. Moreover, a memory means to memorize the selection states of the first and the second selection means is provided in order to improve the operability of the circuit by taking in the customary and preferential practice of user. <IMAGE></p> |
