The hook is for cooking meat, fish or vegetables over an open fire, grill or barbecue. It is roughly 50 cm. long and of stiff heat-resistant steel wire. The tip is sharpened to a point and bent into a semicircle, after which it is bent at right angles to the main part. The handle is of heat-resistant plastic or other suitable material.
