A protection device (1) comprises an armour screen (2), a protection screen (3) consisting of a multilayer stack of ballistic fabric, a shock absorbing sublayer (4) consisting of a multilayer stack of ballistic fabric impregnated with a synthetic resin, the layers of the shock-absorbing sublayer (4) having been laid one on the other and connected along one side (13) with the possibility for each layer to move in a plane perpendicular to that of the stack. The layers of the shock-absorbing sublayer (4) and of the protection screen (3) are made of the same ballistic fabric. |
