<p>An inductor for drawing one fluid into another (e.g. air into fish-pond water) comprises an insert (12) located in a duct (10) to define narrowing (15, 16) and widening (19, 20) passages on either side. The first fluid, e.g. water, flows along these passages and draws the second fluid, e.g. air, into it via egress holes (24). A valve (25) can be moved in the duct to vary the size of the narrowing passages (15, 16). The various passages may be varied by adjusting the insert width (figs 7, 9, 12, not shown), by cutting away tips (fig 5, not shown) of the insert, or by squeezing the duct wall. <IMAGE></p> |
