PURPOSE:To obtain the receiving data free of jitter by obtaining a reference clock source in a reception side, sending the phase information of the clock to a transmission side, generating the synchronized clock according to the phase information of this clock in the transmission side and sending transmitting data by this clock. CONSTITUTION:Optical branching devices 14 and 20 are respectively provided in the both ends of an optical fiber 200 and bidirectional optical transmission can be executed. A reference clock is generated in the reception side and the reference clock or the divided clock is transmitted as a phase control clock to the optical fiber 200. Then, this phase control clock is received in the transmission side and the clock of the same frequency as the reference clock is generated in synchronism with the phase control clock by a phase lock loop. With the above mentioned operation, the transmitting data are sent as an optical signal with being matched to the phase of this clock. In the reception side, the receiving data are resynchronized by the reference clock and outputted as the receiving data of no jitter. Thus, the receiving data free of jitter can be obtained. |
