FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes process for preparing chitosane aqueous solutions and gels. Chitosane and acid chelate complexing agent are dissolved in water. Viscosity of such type of solutions can be appreciably enhanced or they can be converted into highly viscous gels by adding multivalent metal and acid salts wherein chitosane is soluble but moderately or not soluble at all. Salt-like addition chitosane and chelate complexing agent compounds can be prepared from such solutions by removal of water or by deposition with organic compound. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
