FIELD: agricultural machinery. SUBSTANCE: reel tyre mower has cutterbar mounted on movable frame. Cutting members of cutterbar are made in form of articulated sharp low carbon steel plates. Each following plate in direction of cutterbar rotation is installed lower than foregoing plate, and extreme plate is provided with bead to transfer mown mass. With cutterbar rotating, cutting plates shear plants, transport them by beads and form swath. Encountering an obstacle, for instance, a stone, cutterbar bends in its hinges, thus overcoming the obstacle. Making of cutting plates of soft low carbon steel makes it possible to decrease probability of breakage of cutterbars at shock loads. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg |
