PURPOSE: To provide a coil for a magnetically levitated device, in which non- contact is made possible at low speed, by generating large guide force to displacement in the horizontal direction while reducing moment in the rolling direction. CONSTITUTION: In induction coils 2, 2', upper coils 3, 3' in smaller height in the induction coils and lower coils 4, 4' in larger height in the induction coils are connected in the opposite directions to field generating coils 1, 1'. The left and right coils of a track 7 are also connected so as to be mutually directed in the opposite directions to a magnetic field generated by the field generating coils 1, 1' by a null flux line 5 in the upper coils 3, 3' and the lower coils 4, 4'. The upper coils 3, 3' in smaller height are reduced in the impedance of the upper and lower coils. The upper and lower centers 9, 9' of the inductions coils are formed in the mating faces of the upper and lower coils. Accordingly, large guide force is generated even when the upper and lower centers 8, 8' of the field generating coils are made lower than the upper and lower centers 9, 9' of the induction coils and levitating force is generated. |
