OUTPUT METHOD FOR MULTIMEDIA DATA

PURPOSE: To reproduce and display the data in sequence by using a viewer when the viewers are already started in response to the types of multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: A browser 141 fetches the multimedia data out of an external storage 120, etc., by the instruction of a user and refers to a viewer management table 400 included in a storage 130 to decide whether a viewer (static image viewer) 144 coincident with the type of data is already started or not. If not started yet, the browser 141 starts the viewer 144 and sets a communication means 147 to transfer the data to the viewer 144 through the means 147. If the viewer 144 is already started, the browser 141 transfers the data to the viewer 144 through the set means 147. The viewer 144 performs the display control of data at an image display part 152.
