PURPOSE: To provide a drawing method which has both the advantages of a line drawing and a plane drawing. CONSTITUTION: When image of a solid figure viewed from an optional view point E, defined by a set of plural segments, is generated, a hexagon is formed first by connecting corresponding vertexes of two rectangular prisms in reference orthogonal coordinate axial directions of three dimensions about both end points of respective segments. Then, the coordinates of flanks of the hexagon which are visible from the optional point E are found and on the basis of the coordinates, the visible flanks are painted out in different colors or with different luminance to make a screen display. |
