PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating device to separate a receiving member stuck to a roller of a fixing device having a pair of rollers arranged so as to form a nip. SOLUTION: The separating device 30 to separate a receiving member R stuck to a fixing roller 12 has at least a single separating member. The separating member has a comparatively flexible slender finger part 40. The finger part 40 is received by a support part 42 to support a main part of the finger part 40 to increase rigidity of the finger part 40 so as to be easily and freely mountable and demountable. Particularly, the support part 42 has a first support surface to slidably receive the finger part 40, a second support surface turned to the opposite side of the first support surface, that is, a second support surface where the finger part 40 is held between the first support surface and the second support surface, a stopping part, that is, a stopping part to restrict a distance at which the finger part 40 can slidingly move along the first support surface and a locking part for the finger part 40, that is, a locking part to prevent the finger part 40 from moving in the opposite direction of slidingly movable operation after engaging with the stopping part. |
