PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device which is simple in structure and capable of reforming at high efficiency. SOLUTION: A reforming device 7 heated by heat given off in the fuel-cell reaction, for reforming a fresh combustion gas supplied to the anode inlet 13 of a fuel cell, has a first range having a catalyst. The first range includes an inlet for receiving the combustion gas to be reformed and an exit connected to the anode inlet, for the reformed fresh combustion gas, and a reforming process is effected within the first range. The reforming device 7 is formed as a heat exchanger, provided inside exhaust flow immediately behind a fuel-cell block, and having a second range thermally connected to the first range. The exhaust flow of the fuel cell is guided through the second range as heating gas for heating the reforming device 7. |
