PURPOSE: To provide a halogen lamp device in which the radiation of a lamp is efficiently performed by connecting a pair of electrodes protruded from the sealed part of a halogen lamp to a socket through a radiating member insulated by an insulating member, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A radiating socket unit 12 having an insulating member 7 and a socket 11 mutually fitted and fixed to a radiating member 5 is connected to the electrode part 4 of a halogen lamp 2. The power supplied through the socket 11 is sent to the electrode part 4 through the member 5 to perform a halogen cycle. Since the member 5 nips the member 7 at this time, the electrode part 4 is never short-circuited. Since the electrode part 4 is connected to the member 5 without a heat transfer member, the radiation of the lamp 2 is efficiently performed. Thus, the structure of the halogen lamp device itself can be simplified and miniaturized. |
