PURPOSE: To provide a range hood fan, not deteriorating the collecting efficiency of discharging smoke, improving the cleaning property of the inner surface of a hood and preventing the packing work, attaching and as applying works from becoming troublesome, at the time of protecting a cord, communicating a control unit and an operating unit, from heat. CONSTITUTION: A cord 300 from a control unit 5 is penetrated through the upper part of a housing 9 from the back or front remaining space between a fan unit 3 and the housing 9 and is descended from the upper side of rear surface of a front plate 2 along the rear surface to communicate it with the operating unit 6 of the front plate 2. The cord 300 is taken into the remaining space between the housing 9 and the fan unit 3 along the rear surface of a ceiling of a hood body 1 so as to be separated far from discharging smoke whereby the ascending route of the discharging smoke is not crossed and the discharging smoke is sucked into the fan unit 3 on the way of ascending thereby naturally reducing the chance of contact of the cord 300 with the discharging smoke and shortening the time of contact also very much. |
