FIELD: milk industry, in particular, milk and milk product pasteurization equipment. SUBSTANCE: pasteurizer has casing 1, which is be secured to electric engine so that pasteurizer shaft 2 is seated onto engine shaft. Rotor with axial pump is cantilevered on pasteurizer shaft 2. Inner and outer covers are fixed within casing 1 so that they cover rotor at both sides. Cover inner sides adjacent to rotor and end sides of rotor have bowl-shaped cells defining movable and immovable cavities. Cells are provided with liquid supply channels. Gaseous phase discharge channels are positioned between cells, with liquid being discharged through opening in casing 1. Operation of pasteurizer is based on conversion of mechanical energy supplied to rotor into heat energy by vortex motion of liquid.
